Update

It looks like the weather has changed a bit but the rules still apply. We still plan to proceed with the show. The event has begun but the real action begins around 6PM when Lauren Turner near the stage. Let's hope the weather cooperates. It's hard to bet against mother nature!!!

There has been some question about food. Tonight, food will be limited to hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and sausage...all sold from the Rotary tent in the middle of the field.

Tomorrow will be the big day for BBQ. We'll have some vendors out there in addition to plenty of samples from the BBQ teams.

If you've called and we haven't responded, please understand the nature of the day. Setup is very hard and time consuming!

We look forward to seeing you at the festival and look forward to your comments afterwards.

Weather Update

For those travelling to see Lauren Turner, we are sure you are gauging the weather. Right now, the Weather Channel reports a 60% chance of storms Friday. The hourly forecast has those odds dropping to 30% at 6PM, which is 15 minutes before Lauren is scheduled to perform. Please note that if you come to the Fairgrounds beforehand, there are plenty of covered areas that are unoccupied. Hundreds, if not thousands, of people could seek cover in these areas. As mentioned Wednesday, the show will go on!!! We could not order up better weather for Saturday. Let do it!!!
